Washington, D.C. Honor Society Gathering
Thursday, August 18, 2005
Arlington, VA
Our main purpose as an Alumni Interest Group is to
promote communication and stimulate professional
interaction among Skull and Bones alums. The other
similar honor societies at Penn State -
Lion's Paw
and Parmi Nous - also have alumni groups with
like
purposes and we occasionally join
together for -happy hour-style- mixers in areas where we
have large concentrations of members. This gives us the
opportunity to share ideas and suggestions for our
groups. We've done events in San Francisco
and New York City and on
Thursday, August 18, 2005 we held a gathering in Arlington, VA for our
Washington, D.C. area alums. Fifty-plus Honor
Society alums gathered at the home of Mary Weaver Bennett
(Spring '85)
in the hills above the Potomac River and had a great
evening of conversation and camaraderie. Photos
from the event are below.
